Will a credit card work even if it went through a wash cycle in the washing machine?

My credit card went through a cycle in the washing machine. Has anyone done that, and how did it turn out?|||Unless the card was damaged or the magnetic strip on the back of the card is gone,it should still work. Why don't you try it and find out?|||It might still work. Just go someplace and test it.|||What counts is whether the magnetized strip will still work. Bending can wreck that, but I don't think water can. Best way to tell is to take it to a store or ATM and try using it.
